Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the MC SMS Forwarder (Multi-Channel) application (the “App”), a personal utility that forwards incoming SMS messages from your device to destinations you configure (the WhatsApp Cloud API, Telegram, and/or another phone number via SMS). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The App is provided by Gomes Pereira, Lda. (“we”, “us”). Contact: webmaster@gptur.pt.

What the App does

The App reads incoming SMS messages on the device, evaluates them against rules you define (allowed senders and message patterns), and forwards matching messages to the destinations you have enabled and supplied credentials for. All processing and configuration occur on your device.

Your responsibilities

• Lawful use. You may use the App only for lawful purposes and only to forward messages you are authorized to forward. You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, including privacy, data-protection, and electronic-communications laws in your jurisdiction.
• Consent. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required from senders or recipients before forwarding their messages.
• Your credentials and accounts. You are responsible for the WhatsApp Cloud API, Telegram, and carrier accounts you connect, and for keeping their credentials secure. You must comply with the terms of those services, including the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and the Meta Platform Terms.
• No prohibited content. You must not use the App to forward spam, unlawful, abusive, or infringing content, or to violate the policies of any destination platform.

Third-party services

The App relies on third-party services that you choose to enable — the WhatsApp Cloud API (Meta Platforms, Inc.), the Telegram Bot API (Telegram), and your mobile carrier’s SMS network. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for the availability, behavior, or charges of those services.

Charges

Forwarding via SMS may incur message charges from your mobile carrier. Forwarding via the WhatsApp Cloud API may incur charges under Meta’s pricing. You are solely responsible for any such charges.

No warranty

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Message delivery depends on third-party services and is not guaranteed.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, messages, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by disabling forwarding or uninstalling it. We may discontinue the App or update these Terms at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
